- I want to congratulate the host team. Sheriff showed good game, caused us problems from the start despite that the score was 0:0 by the break. I think today we had an encounter with the strongest team of the championship. They won the championship last season for a reason. They have good quality players on every position. Our team wanted to decrease their individual domination with collective game but unfortunately we failed. We were unlucky in the episode with the goal in our own goal, then it was the second goal per5fectly scored by Susic. These moments determined the result of the match. We had our chance at the end of the game but we failed to convert it. The history is written and I think Sheriff deserved to win.

FC Zimbru came to Tiraspol as a leader. Did you expect that you would not show so much in a match against Sheriff?
We came to Tiraspol feeling confident in good spirits and wanted to win by team play but we failed.

Will you pay attention to team play next time?
It is just one defeat. There are no teams that are only followed by success, defeats also happen. We lost the battle but we did not lose the war. I hope my players recover by the next match. We are not ashamed to win, it is important that which work is done to correct the mistakes after defeat. We have all championship ahead and will fight till the winning end.
