FK Sutjeska – FC Sheriff
After winning FK Sutjeska by the score 2:0 FC Sheriff did not leave any chances to Montenegrin team in an away match as well scoring three goals.
Our team scored a goal already on 4th minute. Kadu made a pass from the penalty area, Ligger Moreira jumped higher than the others and sent the ball to the center of the penalty area when the Hollander Fred Benson shot at the goal of FK Sutjeska. The situation got worse with the hosts when Goran Vujovic played tough against Marcel Metoua and got doubled booked and sent off. However, outnumbered Sutjeska played close to Matias Degra. On 36th minute BlajoIgumanovic was almost one to one with the goalkeeper who dealt with the shot in his turn. On 35th minute Nikola Stijepovic was not careful in the center of the field where Luvannor took the ball and got into opponent’s penalty area – 0:2!
In the second half FC Sheriff had many moments, one of which was converted on 54th minute. Luvannor sent a pass to Benson who missed it, however Ismail Isa made a shot to the goal with one touch. 20 minutes before the end of the match Igumanovic could score but he was unable to outplay Degra in close fight. Ismail Isa could make it a brace after the mistake by Yanusevic but the goalkeeper made a save. His last chance was missed by Jovan Nikolic, he missed shooting at FC Sheriff goal. In the added time Kadu ran through the whole field, came one to one with the goalkeeper but the shot was right into Yanusevic.
Winning FK Sutjeska by the general score 5:0 FC Sheriff enters UEFA Champions League third qualifying round with the opponent SK Slovan Bratislava (Slovakia) who was stronger than FC The New Saints (Wales). The first match of FC Sheriff takes place in Slovakia on 29/30 of July, home match will take place on 5/6 of August.
On Friday, July 25th, FC Sheriff is playing against FC Tiraspol in terms of the first round of the Championship of Moldova, season 2014/2015. The match begins at 19:00.
