Moldova's U-19 national team was defeated in the first qualifying match of the 2024 European Championship in Tbilisi today. The peers of the Spanish national team scored 5 unanswered goals for the Tricolors.

The coach of the Team, Andrei Corneencov, also provided playing time to the pupils of the FC Sheriff Academy. Sergei Obîscalov, Vladislav Iațco, Stanislav Grișciuk and Artiom Dijinari played all 90 minutes of the match. Denis Gușpit was substituted in the 69th minute of the game. Denis Pleșca and Dan Boțan came on as substitutes for the second half, Nichita Sandețchi entered the game at 62 minutes. Vitali Guțu remained in reserve.

The national team will play the next match on November 18 against the representative of the host country – Georgia. The starting whistle will sound at 13:00.
