FC Sheriff second team participated in the first friendly of 2018. Luka Pavlovici's squad met National Under-18 team of Moldova which is in preparations for the international tournament in Minsk now.

The game ended with Sheriff-2 winning with the score 2-0. In the Moldovan National team also played trainees of Sheriff Academy. Evgeniy Gliga was on the field since the beginning of the match, and in the second half  Egor Chesnokov and Nicolay Stoyanov made their appearance. 

The first game of the tournament in Minsk will be held on 21 January between Oleg Fistican's side and National team of Ukraine.
