First control game
In the first control game of pre-season training, FC Sheriff reserve team played draw 0-0 against FC Balcany, Ukraine.
The beginning of the encounter was under the hosts' control. Thу Yellow-Blacks made several dangerous moments. In the 20th minute, Andrey Kobets was about to open the score. His strong shot made in a beautiful jump was saved by the Ukrainian goalkeeper. By the end of the first half, the guests perked up and created several dangerous opportunities. However, the score wasn't opened till the break.
In the beginning of the second half, the Wasps remained in minority. Vadim Boiko made a foul against his opponent and was sent off the pitch. Balcany players runned up, trying to take advantage from their number superiority. And yet, our defenders and goalkeeper's firm play kept a clean sheet. Finally, the friendly ended in a goalless draw.
The next game of Luka Pavlovic's side will be against FC Petrocub. The kick-off is on 10 February at 13:00 at the SC Sheriff Covered Arena.
