The youth national team of Moldova U-19 lost in the final of Roma Caput Mundi-2020 to the national team of Kosovo, having missed one and only ball. Thus, the Moldovan team took the second place among 8 teams.

 

Our trainees - goalkeeper Alexei Samoilenko and forward Artur Unture played the whole game. Nikita Pikus came off the substitutes' bench on the 35th minute, and Artem Ivanov on the 41st minute.

 

For the wards of Yuri Chunchuk, this tournament is a preparatory stage for the qualifying round of the European Championship 2020/21 season. Our team will play in the eighth group with France, Greece and Azerbaijan. Matches are scheduled for October 5-13, 2020 in the Republic of Moldova.
