FC Zimbru – FC Sheriff (1:2)
FC Sheriff won FC Zimbru in not an easy away match and takes the first place in the standings now.
The first half was run by FC Sheriff. Our team was more often in the attack. More active were Danijel Subotic, Ricardinho and Kadu. Ricardinho scored a goal but from an offside position. However in the middle of the half Ricardinho was lucky to shoot and score in the angle between the post and cross bar. Before the break Cakic and Subotic made firm long-ranged shots but Vozinia made saves. On 45th minute FC Zimbru forward Jan-Mari Amani was double booked.
In the second half FC Zimbru looked better but FC Sheriff found their way to double the scoring. The link Ricardinho-Subotic did its job. The Brazilian sent to the box and tall Subotic headed in.
However in two minutes FC Zimbru was awarded a penalty after Andrei Novicov’s hand touch. Rui Miguel didn’t miss the target, although Alexei Koselev guessed the direction of the shot. Soon Koselev guessed made a fantastic save after the shot by Jo.
