FC Speranta – FC Sheriff. Surprise in Nisporeni
FC Sheriff suddenly defeated to local FC Speranta, missing ambiguous goal at the end of game.
It should be noted that the match played on artificial turf and it is in the middle of the summer. (!) The synthetics quality leaves much to be desired. This episode of missed goal was not disputed at all. At the moment FC Sheriff goalkeeper Alexei Koselev got an injury and was to be taken out.
During the game FC Sheriff dominated and had some real chances to score. The first dangerous moment was 10 minutes after the kickoff. Mihajlo Cakic made a rebounding shot and Nicolai Turcan could make a save. Before the break Vadim Paireli and Mateo Susic missed two similar moments. They could not turn home.
In the second half Danijel Subotic and Maxim Iurcu took the field to help Igor Picusciac. Then FC Sheriff’s play was more interesting, however they had no goal attempts.
The last ten minutes were the most interesting and unexpected. FC Speranta did not have goal attempts during the game but then finally scored but it seems to us to be a violation. Amer Dupovac had a major break in the field center, Jessie Raynford got the ball and rushed to our goal. The opponent jumped on Alexei Koselev with his feet. FC Sheriff goalkeeper could not stand up and FC Speranta continued attacking. Dupovac blocked the kick towards the open goal, the ball fell off to Mihail Onicas who sent it to the goal.
Koselev could not continue the game and was substituted by the young Sheriff player Denis Macogonenco.
The last minutes FC Sheriff played in the opponent’s penalty area. The attack was about to be converted. Danijel Subotic made some fantastic shots on goal but Nicolai Turcanu repelled two of these attacks.
FC Sheriff defeated and took the third place in the standings. This matchday gave one more unexpected result: FC Petrocub outplayed FC Milsami at home (1:0).
