FC Sheriff Stars. Vadim Borets
Vadim Borets (red kit on the picture) was FC Sheriff players from 2001 to 2005. Ex-player of the national team of Moldova. The first thing that comes on mind when you think about Borets and Moldova national team is the phenomenal shot to Holland national team.
Borets was transferred to our team from FC Zimbru. During four seasons in FC Sheriff the player played in 50 matches and scored 12 times playing midfield. In FC Sheriff Borets became the champion of the country, the owner of the Cup and the Supercup, the owner of the Commonwealth Champions Cup 2003. The goals in the Champions League and at the Commonwealth Cup have been left forever in FC Sheriff supporters’ memory.
Vadim Borets ended his playing career three years ago. Now he trains Moldova U-17 national team.
