A contract with FC Sheriff was signed by the Spanish holding midfielder Aitor Monroy who has been with the team at the training camps in Turkey for a few days.
 
27-year-old football player played in Atletico Madrid second team for five years. From there Aitor moved to the Spanish club Logrones, after that he moved to Romanian club Ceahlaul from Piatra Neamt where he played during three seasons. The last team of FC Sheriff new player was CFR Cluj. It should be noted that Bosnian Mateo Susic was transferred to FC Sheriff also from CFR Cluj.
