FC Sheriff – FC Zimbru (4:1)
The main match of this autumn ended in a convincing victory of FC Sheriff (4:1). Zoran Vulic’s team continues to lead the championship.
The first shot at the goal was for FC Sheriff. Radu Ginsari made a firm low shot but Vozinya made a save. Then Danijel Subotic shot from the penalty area and Vozinya made no mistake again. However, later on Ricardinho sent a precise shot to the box from where Andrei Novicov headed in. Almost immediately FC Zimbru responded. FC Sheriff defenders made a mistake that was used by Jan-Mari Amani who shot in the low corner. Within the last ten minutes of the first half FC Sheriff had many chances to score. Kadu, Novicov and Ginsari could not convert their chances and the shots by Ricardinho and Subotic were countered by Vozinya.
After the break FC Sheriff had territorial and playing advantages. Ginsari’s and Amani’s shots passed by the goal. The outcome of the match was decided during the last fifteen minutes. On 77th minute Kadu played with Ginsari who got it through and sent to Juninho Potiguar who made it a goal. Two minutes later Ginsari sent a fantastic pass to Subotic who forwarded it right into the goal. The final point was set after a goal in FC Zimbru own goal. Ion Jardan turned home the shot by Kadu.
Our team is two points ahead of FC Dacia and FC Zimbru has seven points less.
