FC Sheriff – FC Universitatea Craiova
FC Sheriff conceded to FC Universitatea by the score 1:2 at the match while training camps.
It was not known till the last minute whether the match will take place or not. It has been raining for two days in Belek and that ruined plans of the team. But the game did take place and was full of fighting. Leonel Olimpio was about to score at the beginning of the match but the goalkeeper made a save. FC Universitatea were quite fast in the front line. In one of the episodes Serghei Paschenko saved his team from a dangerous shot. On the 28th minute FC Sheriff lost a great chance to score. Juninho Potiguar shot at close range but hit the goalkeeper. One minute later Romanians open the scoring. Ionut Tarnacop got into the centre of the penalty area and made a precise shot to the close corner. Before the break Ricardinho could balance the scoring but his shot was nor precise. FC Universitatea sped up and scored a goal to gloom. However before that Ernandes could clear from the goal line and then Paschenko made a save. Nunio Rocha scored the second goal and left no chances for the goalkeeper.
In the second half there were less dangerous moments. FC Sheriff could score one goal when after the shot by Galvao, Artiom Razgonyuk sent a pass to the center of the box where Valery Makritsky shot at the goal at a close distance.
Unfortunately, our team could not score any more goals. This defeat was the first one at the training camps. The last opponent for FC Sheriff will be Zbrojovka Brno from Czech Republic.
