Today a central match of XXII round in the National Division between the leaders of the championship FC “Sheriff” and FC “Tiraspol” took place at the Roofed Stadium of SC “Sheriff”.
 
The game started very actively. On the 3^rd minute Vadim Ratsa got into the penalty area of FC “Sheriff” but Benjamin Balima stopped him in an unacceptable way. As a result a penalty was awarded. Serghei Shapoval converted the penalty. In a few minutes Ricardinho could balance the score but Georghy Georgiev made a save. In the middle of the half team captain Miral Samardzic made a shot at the goal but the ball was higher than the crossbar. In a few minutes FC “Sheriff” scored a goal. After a pass from Stanojevic Ricardinho got the ball and assisted to Luvannor who shot at the goal from a few meters distance – 1:1! This goal was the 20^th one for Luvannor in the championship which allows him to be the first in the strikers’ list.
 
The second half was as interesting as the first one. After a shot by Victor Bulat the ball got into the foot of the defender and changed its direction. However Serghei Juric made a fantastic save. Right after that Novikov was not able to turn home after the flank pass. FC “Sheriff” responded in a dangerous shot headed by Stanojevic but Georgiev could make a save. 58^th minute brought a dangerous episode when Luvannor was not able to outplay Georgiev in a close fight. Five minutes before the end of the match FC “Tiraspol” scored their second goal. Georgy Karaneychev received the ball in the penalty area and made a shot at the far corner. FC “Sheriff” spent last minutes of the match to recoup. On 94^th minute Benjamin Balima could send the ball into the goal but it was cancelled because of the offside position.
 
FC “Sheriff” suffers the second defeat in this championship but despite that FC “Sheriff” is the leader of the championship.
