FC Sheriff – FC Tiraspol. Derby for the yellow-blacks
FC Sheriff wins over FC Tiraspol (4:0) and continues fighting for the championship.
The teams started the game in a careful manner, however the first goal attempt was made by FC Sheriff. Mateo Susic sent a shot to a far corner but Vladimir Livshitz played great. FC Tiraspol responded in a wide ball by Eugeny Zarichnuyk. In the middle of the first half Ricardinho scored another goal in the championship using the mistake by Andrei Makritsky. Then Galvao missed a good chance after outplaying Livshitz and shooting at an empty goal, however Andrei Makritsky cleared from the goal line. Inaccuracy on the part of Yurku and Isa did not let them score. The same happened to Mikhailo Tsakic when the ball got over the crossbar.
At the very start of the second half FC Tiraspol was twice close to scoring. At first Zarichnuyk could not outplay Degra and then Borroco headed in but missed. On 55th minute Tsakic behaved in an unsporting way towards Isa and FC Sheriff was awarded a penalty. Leonel Olimpio converted the penalty. Ten minutes later Ricardinho scored his 18th goal in the championship. Maxim Antonyuk scored the final in the match – 4:0.
FC Sheriff opponents also won their matches. Three match days before the end of the championship all three teams continue fighting for the main prize.
