FC Sheriff – FC Milsami. The intrigue in the championship escalated
FC Sheriff lost a match against FC Milsami which makes fighting for the championship even more unpredictable.
The match was not very successful for our team from the very start. After a penalty shot Serghei Paschenco turned the ball away with his fists but got right in Petr Raku and from there the ball go into the goal. On 10th minute FC Milsami doubled the scoring. Belak sent the ball to distant post from where Adil Raili shot at the close corner in FC Sheriff goal. There was almost no chance to perform a quick attack in the first half. As for the away team, after thirty minutes of the game they carried out a dangerous counterattack in the course of which Patrash hit the post.
After the break FC Sheriff started playing more actively and could make up the ground almost at once. Juninho Potiguar could flick back to Radu Ginsari who sent the ball in one touch to upper V. However, then Andrei Kozhokar sent an incredibly long-ranged shot right to the low corner. Then FC Sheriff was awarded a penalty. Vadim Paireli got into FC Milsami penalty area, made a shot but it was prevented by FC Milsami defender’s hand. The additional referee pointed the main referee towards the violation. Leonel Olimpio did not miss when performing a penalty shot. Last minutes of the match were spent on the opponent’s side, however comeback was not seen. In the added time Paschenco could make a save after a dead ball by Andronik.
FC Milsami wins over FC Sheriff. However, nothing is lost so far. In the next round FC Sheriff play with FC Dacia from Chisinau. FC Milsami have a match against FC Tiraspol in Orhei.
