FC Sheriff wins for the second time at the training camps. This time the opponent was FC Bohemians from Prague playing in the Top League in Czech Republic.
Despite the status of a friendly match, it was quite tensed. In the first half the players of both teams were very careful in their play. The first shot at the goal was only after fifteen minutes. Puntus made a good shot at the goal but it was higher the goal. The Czech responded in a more acute way. Josef Jindrisek made a firm shot and only Matias Degra’s desperate jump saved our team. In a few minutes Degra countered the shot headed in by Ivan Lietava. Maksim Antonyuk sent a good shot but FC Bohemians goalkeeper played safely.
In the second half substituted Serghei Jurik made a great save after the shot by Czech player. Twenty minutes before the end of the match there was an episode, both a bad and a good one. Ricardinho was brought on a free space at the penalty area line, the ball hit the ground, Ricardinho sent the ball into the goal, after that he was hit by the goalkeeper and defender. The clash was so rough that FC Sheriff whole coaching stuff ran out on the field. Thanks God everything went fine both for our player and for the opponents. The goal was counted and the game finished by the score 1:0 for our team.
The next opponents for FC Sheriff are FK Sarajevo and FC Universitatea Craiova both to be played on February 11.
