FC Sheriff conceded to FC Dacia for the second time this season, though keeping their leadership in the championship.
In the first round FC Dacia could win FC Sheriff for the first time in its history. FC Sheriff was at the opponent’s goal since the first minutes and scored a goal. Ricardinho sent a great pass to Radu Ginsari who scored. In the first half FC Dacia were dangerous in set pieces performance. In one of the episodes Veaceslav Posmaka made a firm shot but he failed. In the middle of the half FC Dacia could make up the ground. Zastavny sent a shot along the goal line and Petr Leuka turned home. In fifteen minutes FC Dacia could score another goal when Zastavny used the mistake of FC Sheriff defenders and sent a precise shot to the far corner. Our team had a few chances to score before the break. At first Galvao and Paireli could not outplay Raylian, then after a high cross from Balima the ball got into the crossbar.
The start of the second half was up for FC Sheriff. Kadu had a pull on the ball, FC Dacia were saved thanks to Raylian. Paireli kept a good chance for Juninho Potiguar but he did not make a firm shot and the ball was taken by the goalkeeper. Ten minutes before the end of the match FC Dacia had their third successful attack. Krkotic got Bejan to a free zone who in his turn converted one-to-one. FC Sheriff made up ground then. Potiguar played one-two with Ricardinho who sent a precise shot to far corner, thus scoring his ninth goal this season. Our team tried to perform a dangerous attack but failed and conceded by the score 3:2.
Despite the defeat FC Sheriff keeps the leading position in the standings having the same number of points with FC Veris.
