Austrian Harald Lechner became the main referee of the first leg of the second qualifying round of the Champions League between the Slovenian Maribor and FC Sheriff.

 

The last international match of the 39-year-old Austrian was the League of Nations match between Romania and Finland (1:0). Lechner officiated the match between FC Sheriff in the play-off round of the Europa League with Azerbaijani FC Qarabag. In August 2018, our club won with a score of 1:0.

 

He will be assisted by his compatriots Andreas Heindreich, Maximilian Kolbic and Markus Hameter.

 

The first match Maribor - Sheriff will take place on July 20, at 20.15 (21.15 in Tiraspol) at the Ljudski Vrt stadium.
