Everything was decided in the second half
FC Sheriff's understudies in the 11th round of Division-A beat FC Olimp (3: 1) in a home match.
In the first half, both teams played well in defense, and therefore the score was not opened. Somewhere there was not enough accuracy in performance, when on the 15th minute the ball hit the post after being hit by Serafim Cojocari. Yevgeny Borovskiy also made a dangerous shot at the guests, but his shots did not hit the target.
The second half of the game turned out to be very eventful. Shota Makharadze sent Eugen Gliga onto the pitch, thus giving more speed in the attacking line. On the 52nd minute, in one of the attacks, Evgeny earned a penalty spot, and the guests' second yellow card was received by Kirill Bargan. Makalici approached the point, but failed to score - the ball hit the right post from the goalkeeper. The Olimp footballers remained in the minority, but this did not prevent them from leveling the score, thanks to the efforts of Mikhail Botnarenko. The understudies did not force the events; on the contrary, they played the rest of the match correctly. Our team, due to the numerical advantage, began to stretch the defensive redoubts of the opponent, creating free zones into which attacking players rushed at high speeds. In one of these attacks, Eugen Gliga again earned a penalty and converted it himself. The third goal was scored after a beautiful heel pass from Alexander Gradinar to Nikita Murovaniy.
