FC Sheriff players capped for preliminary match in terms of the World Championship did not take the field last weekend.

Cyrille Bayala was on the match sheet against South Africa but did not play. Benjamin Balima was not registered for the match. The game ended in 1:1 draw, both goals were scored by the end of the encounter.

Bojidar Mitrev was a reserve goalkeeper in the national team of Bulgaria that suffered defeat in both away matches: 1:4 against France and 0:3 against Sweden. The main goalkeeper was Vladislav Stoyanov who also played for Sheriff.

Mateo Susic (photo) was registered for the match but did not take the field in matches against Belgium (0:4) and Cyprus (2:0), but he did not play.

The next round of preliminary matches will be played on 11-13 November.
