The newcomer of our team, a midfielder from Ghana, Edmund Addo, gave his first interview, in which he spoke about himself and his football dream.

 

- Edmund, you signed the contract with FC Sheriff. How are things going?

- I am happy that I became a part of FC Sheriff. They play interesting football here, and I certainly want to take part in the matches and help in achieving new trophies. I will try to show my best side. I would like to strengthen the team with my game. This transfer is a great opportunity for my career.

 

- Tell us about the first impressions of being here and about the first trainings with the team ...

- I was impressed by the infrastructure of the base, excellent conditions for football. I met everyone and was satisfied. Trainings are held at a high level. I would like to highlight the quality of the trainings and the intensity, as well as close attention to detail.

 

- How would you describe the playing stage of your career in the Slovak Senica?

- They helped me a lot in Slovakia. Namely, they let me show myself in Europe. Thanks to this stage, I ended up in Tiraspol, in a new interesting and strong team. I consider each club as a stage of my development.

 

- During the dialogue you seem to be a shy and reserved young man, but what is Edmund Addo on the football field?

- Yes, you have rightly noticed - in communication I behave modestly. But on the football field I'm crazy in the best sense of the word. I know that there is a lot of competition in the team, but I am not afraid of it. I will do my job efficiently to get my chance.

 

What's Edmund Addo's dream?

- What player doesn't want to be in one of the strongest football clubs in Europe? I'm not an exception. Ideally, my dream is to play for Manchester United. Since childhood I have been rooting for the "red devils". But today you have to work hard. I strive to get a chance to prove myself in the Champions League, now this is the most important thing.
