The Championship of Moldova in the National Division-A has started today. The youth team of FC Sheriff hosted Iskra from Ribnita in the first tour. The match ended with the victory of our boys with the score 1: 0.

 

At the end of the first half, the hosts had a minimal advantage in the score thanks to the goal scored by Evgeny Ozhekhovsky. Our forward, having played well in the tackle, hit the far corner of the opponent's goals. In the first half of the game, Ribnita players had practically no scoring chances. This is quite natural, since the guests attacked with too small forces.

 

The second half of the match was without results, with a large territorial advantage of the yellow-blacks. The teams tried, aggravated, but no more goals happened. The head coach of the reserves Shota Makharadze believes that it is quite natural that few goals were scored - the teams are gaining their playing conditions.

 

The next game for the trainees of Sheriff Academy will be away on July 31 against the club of the same name from Balti.
