The world famous CNN TV channel today broadcast about the success of FC Sheriff in the Champions League. Channel journalist Alex Thomas congratulated Dimitrios on reaching the group stage of the tournament and asked the Greek about the secret of our club's success.

 

- Dimitrios, congratulations. How did the team celebrate?

- Many thanks. Hello everybody. We are very pleased with this event. It is everyone's dream to reach the group stage of the Champions League and we did it. It was difficult to imagine it in the beginning, but now there is a dream that became true.

 

- Did you have a party in connection with such an event?

- Not really a party. We celebrated in the dressing room, but it was not really a party.

 

- What is the secret of such success? I have mentioned players from all over the world in your team. How did you make this work so good?

- I think the most important thing is that we are a family. We have a very good team relationship. We give our best on the pitch. In football, sometimes it's not just tactics or technique are the most important  - sometimes you need something more to reach a high level. I think we have been doing this since the first days, as we got together and it helps us to be one team on the field. Because everything does not depend on one or two players - we are together every day. This is our, how to say it correctly, advantage. This is the most important thing for us.

 

- It is very exciting for all of you now, you will take part in the draw. Which team would you like to play with?

- I would like to play with any team. All the teams here are leaders, high-level clubs. I don't even know what to say, everyone wants to play with Messi or Ronaldo. It all depends on the luck of the draw, who will be drawn by the lot for us.

 

- You are in the 4th pot, PSG in the second, so there is a chance to play with Messi. Congratulations to you and your teammates. Good job.
