Today the central match of the 18th tour in Division-A took place. The second team of FC Sheriff defeated 4:1 the championship leader SFC Spartani.

 

As expected, the match was going to be uncompromising - and so it happened after 90 minutes of the game. In the first half, both teams did not hesitate to demonstrate dynamic and offensive football. In the 30th minute, our team took the lead - a penalty kick was realized by Alizade Karmanov. After 10 minutes, the guests were in the minority. Daniel Adam received a direct red card. This unpleasant event did not prevent the Spartani players from equalizing the score. Ion Mamaliga also implemented a penalty kick - 1:1.

 

In the second half, only our boys scored. The numerical advantage was eventually realized. Dan Botan barely came on as a substitute and immediately scored. Evgheni Gliga did everything perfectly for his partner. And five minutes later, Evgheni  scored - a gorgeous shot from outside the penalty area. At the 85th minute, the guests were again forced to play in the minority. Now Vadim Bejenari has been sent off. Towards the end of the game, Dan Botan again did not forgive the Spartani players, having scored a double.

 

4:1 - an excellent game and the result of the wards of Shota Makharadze over an older and more experienced opponent.
