FC Sheriff suffered a defeat from FC Academia Chisinau in a match that took place at the Small Arena of the sports complex Sheriff. 

All 90 minutes showed advantage of Sheriff. The visiting team relied on counterattacks putting many players in the defense line. In the first half we had at least 4 chances to score but the ball would not get into the goal. Brezovec was good in set pieces, as usually, Bayala, Badibanga played in the attack, but lacked composure in finishing. 

FC Academia opened the scoring after a set piece when Roshka changed the ball's direction. Pressure on the opponent's goal continued after the break. We had many chances but failed to make accute passes and shots. Sheriff rushed to win back since they did not have a draw in their plans. The goal was scored on 20th minute of the second half. Ambros took the ball from the opponent in the box, gave to Ricardinho who sent to upper V. 

Rushing to score the second goal, our players let the opponent have a few dangerous attacks, one of which ended in a goal by Alexander Vremia. In the end, we did not have time to win back.

Despite this defeat, Sheriff still takes the first position, at least till tomorrow when FC Zaria plays their match. It seems like the champions' race only begins.
