Today there was a first Sheriff match on the second training camp in Turkey. The opponent was FC Jagodina from Serbia. Serbian club began the first and began powerfully, coming right to our goal. Sheriff defended well and then began to attack too. Pascenco delivered several dangerous corners and also produced a shot from free kick, but there have been no goal. In the middle of the first half Sheriff managed to begin playing his own game and looked better than the opponents with more sharp attacks. However it was Jagodina to score. In one of the attacks there was a mess in the penalty area and the Jagodina player took advantage of the rebound of the ball and sent it to the net. In the first half also Dedov had a powerful shot that, however, went wide. But the most great chance was lost by Pesic who was given a pass by Gheorghiev. First half ended with the score 0-1.
 
The second half Sheriff began better and created dangerous moments but there have been no goals. First of all Tanasa got the ball in offside, and then Pascenco delivered the corner well and made the Jagodina goalkeeper punch the ball in the hard situation. In the middle of the second half Jagodina produced a shot that was not dangerous. After that the game was going without goals with a lot of struggle in the center of the pitch. After that dangerous opportunity was lost by Pascenco, who produced bad shot on goal. In the last ten minutes Jagodina produced a shot from free kick and Zveaghintev stood well. Tanasa was very active on the flank but didn't manage to score or to give the assist. And in the end of the second half Jagodina lost a great opportunity, having sent the ball into the post. The match ended with the score 0-1in favor of the Serbian club. Sheriff played not bad in the game against good opponent. Now we are looking forward to next game against Danish club Horsens.
