We are working on regular basis, heavy workloads are already passed, everything is going okay. We are training twice a day. М
Tell us if it is hard to play against such opponents as Rubin and Ludogorets. What team was tougher for Sheriff?
Yes, in Moldavian championship we do not have such opponents. For me it was harder to play against Ludogorets, I can't say why.
Let us talk a little bit about the national team and start from the very beginning. Tell us how you felt the desire to play for Armenian national team?
I didn't think it is real, because I was born in Moldavia, have local passport, but when we played against Ulisses, the representatives of Armenian Football Federation came to me and proposed this variant, they told me that it is real.
Did you think for a long time until you produced this decision?
First of all I took advice from my parents, my father, because he is Armenian. He said he would be proud if I played for Armenian national team. Also I took advice from my partners in the team and of course the head coach. They wished me success and approved my choice.
As we know, FIFA officially let you play for Armenia. Are you glad?
Yes, I am very glad, I was waiting, wanted to play for Armenia in November, when there had been the call-up, but there had been problems with documents and I couldn't play. Now everything is official and I am very glad and looking forward to my first match for the national team.
What does the callup to Armenian national team mean exactly to you.
It is my historical motherland, my grandfather was born there, I'm half Armenian and want to play for this country.
Recently you got the call up for your first training camp and for the match that will take place on February, 5, against Luxembourg. Tell us your emotions.
I am very glad, I'd like to make acquaintance with partners, the head coach, want to play, show good game and win.
Do you know many people from the Armenian national team?
Yes I do, but I do not know them in personal.
As for our training camp, what do you think about the game with Gloria? What do you think it will be?
It will be not good as well, because Gloria is rather strong team, but we want to win, because one game here we played in a draw, one lost, and didn't win a single game.
