Colombian defender of FC Sheriff Danilo Arboleda, whose goal scored brought our club victory in the match against Serbian Crvena Zvezda, shared his impressions of this meeting, and also spoke about what awaits our team in the rivalry with FC Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League play-off round.

 

- Danilo, what can you say about the game in general? Was it difficult to resist the Serbs?

- In fact, it was a very difficult game, although, for sure, many did not think so. It is important that we managed to withstand the opponent's pressure throughout the entire 90 minutes of the fight. Our game showed that we are a strong team and all opponents will have to reckon with us.

 

- Remember, please, the episode with the scored ball. What were the emotions?

- It is important to note something else - fortunately, this goal scored is not my individual achievement. This goal of the whole team, we fought hard to achieve it.

 

- Our team had enough episodes to score a goal. What was not enough to double the lead?

- I think that everything was enough for this, but the strength of the opponent must also be taken into account. The team gave everything in terms of attack, my partners fought enough - this is the most important thing. Now we need to be effective against Dynamo Zagreb.

 

- What can you say about the fans - did you feel support?

- Yes, it really was great to contemplate the support of the fans. It was a huge plus for the match as a whole and, of course, for us. Hopefully they will continue like this.

 

- What awaits our team in the rivalry with FC Dynamo Zagreb?

- Indeed, now we need to work and prepare without sparing ourselves. We all need to concentrate on the fact that we will play this match to the death.
