“Dacia” – “Sheriff” December 1, 2013
A central game of the championship between “Dacia” and “Sheriff” in the 17th round of the National Division took place in Chisinau on the synthetic field of the stadium “Buicani”.
“Sheriff” tried to score from the first minutes. Luvannor Henrique, Ricardinho and Kadu were active in the front line and created danger at the goal of Matiughin. “Sheriff” could score on 18th minute. Ricardinho made a long-range shot which resulted in a goal – 0:1! The first dangerous moment was created by “Dacia” on 37th minute when Camara got the ball in the penalty area and made a shot but he was not precise enough.
In the second half the game became more active. Marko Stanojevic who came off the substitutes’ bench made two dangerous shots at the goal but the ball missed the crossbar in a few centimeters. Surprisingly, “Dacia” found strength to score. The 17-year-old Alexander Bejan got into the penalty area of “Sheriff”, made a strong shot at the goal and evened up scores. In five minutes players of “Sheriff” made a strong counterattack which resulted in a goal. Ricardinho sent the ball to Paireli who came one to one and converted his chance – 1:2! This goal was the first one of the young attacking player in “Sheriff”. In one of the episodes Bruno Simao shot at Stajila’s goal but the ball got right into the hands of the goalkeeper. At the end of the game “Sheriff” could score the third goal. Luvannor sent the ball to Ismail Isa who outplayed Matiughin and made it final in this match. It should be also noted that Isa could score his second goal in extra time but he missed the ball.
One of the main matches of the championship finished with a convincing victory of “Sheriff” by the score 3:1. Having 44 points the “yellow-blacks” lead the standings being 9 points ahead of FC “Tiraspol”.
