Czech debutant
The first match of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League against Swedish FC Elfsborg will be officiated by a team of Czech Republic referees headed by Marek Radin.
For Radin it will be his debut in European competitions. He is only 31 years old and became a FIFA referee in 2023. On the international stage, he refereed two matches at the level of national youth teams, U-21. In September last year Malta Hungary, and in November the match between Belgium and Scotland. In two matches he showed 13 yellow cards. In three years of refereeing he has refereed only 48 matches in all tournaments.
He will be assisted by Peter Kaletka, Jan Vana and Karel Roucek
