FC Sheriff and FC Dacia have an encounter today, on MD 6. The game, in particular, its result, may have direct influence on the standings. However, these changes, if any, may be only transitional.
 
The history of this confrontation has been over 14 years. In the season 2002-2003 the club from Chisinau joined National Division and made their name.  However, in the last 6 years these duels have become more violent.
 
Not many goals are scored in their face-to-face encounters. Last year in 4 matches 4 goals were scored, teams had close wins and two draws. Last season for the first time in Moldovan football history faced Golden ball match which took place in Chisinau and FC Sheriff took golden medals thanks to Galesic's goal.

The most high-performance season was in 2014/15 when 8 goals were scored in three matches. And our team did not win in any one of them. So the series of defeats for Sheriff lasted for 6 matches. In the season 2013/14 the situation was different. The yellow-blacks won all three matches.

This season was started by the teams differently. Sheriff took the first position and the opponent takes only the sixth, 3 victories and 3 defeats, the last one in MD 8 in a home match to FC Zaria Balti – 1:2.
