Dreams, football life and thirst for learning. This is all about Cristian Tovar, who gave his first interview as a player of FC Sheriff:

 

- Cristian, traditionally we are waiting for a story about your city, what did you do as a child and how did you become a professional football player?

- Nothing complicated. I was born in Villavicencio, Colombia. My first children's club was Semigliano, which gave me the opportunity to move to the first professional club, Deportes Tolima, with whom I signed my first professional contract.

 

- Who instilled in you a passion for football?

- Passion for football was instilled in me by my parents. At one time, my father had the opportunity to play football and he tried to introduce me to the sport. He inspired and did everything to make my dream come true.

 

- Did you have an idol in childhood, who is he?

- When I was little, I wanted to be like Mario Alberto Yepes. For many years he defended the colors of the Colombian national team and played for strong European clubs.

 

- Favorite hobby?

- I don't know if this will surprise anyone, but I like to learn, to gain new knowledge.

 

- What do you dream about?

- My dream is to one day play in the English Premier League, finish my studies (I have a specialty in business administration) and put my knowledge into practice in football.

 

- You are not so long in Tiraspol. What are your inner emotions after moving to FC Sheriff? Maybe something struck or surprised. Tell me about your first impression...

- I'm glad I came. Of course, I think I'm not the first who was strongly impressed by the infrastructure of the club. I have already heard about FC Sheriff from the Colombians who played here. They said that the club is well organized. But I could not imagine that everything is so great.

 

- What message would you like to convey to the fans of FC Sheriff?

- First of all, I would like to thank the team and staff for making me feel welcome. In return, they and all the fans they have yet to meet will always be able to find a friend in me. I will do everything for FC Sheriff and achieve all my goals.
