“Costuleni” – “Sheriff” November 23, 2013
The leaders of the championship “Costuleni” and “Sheriff” met in the 16 round of the National Division.
On mutual agreement of both sides the match took place in Tiraspol at the Small Arena of Sports Complex “Sheriff”. The game did not have many scoring chances. The players of “Sheriff” got the advantage and created danger at the goal of “Costuleni”. The score was opened on 34th minute. Veaceslav Lisa made a pass from the corner of the field to the head of the best striker of the championship. Henrique Luvannor was in the right place and sent the ball to the far corner. At the end of the half Marko Stanojevic shot hard at the goal but Adrian Patras made a good save.
Since the lawn was wet, football players of both teams tried to shoot at the goal from the distance, however none of the shots reached the goal. “Costuleni” could not have a scoring chance at the goal of Stajila but “Sheriff” had a great chance to double the lead at the end of the match. The game was finished with a minimal victory of the “yellow-blacks” who continue to go further in the standings. Our team will have the next match with “Anji” in Ramenskoe in terms of Matchday 5 of Europa League.
