In connection with the numerous appeals to the club by the fans, FC Sheriff considers it necessary to clarify the situation related to the broadcasting of matches of the qualifying stages of the Champions League.

 

First of all, it should be noted that FC Sheriff has always appreciated the true fans who supported us not only at the home stadium, but also far beyond Tiraspol. Our club is the only one in the Championship of Moldova, which encouraged, organized and helped in organizing trips and broadcasting of the team's matches.

 

Based on this, it is worth clarifying that the broadcast of matches is a priority for the club. That is why FC Sheriff completely donated the rights to broadcast home matches in the qualification of the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League to TSV TV channel. This was done in order to expand the audience of people who watch our matches and cannot attend them in the stands of the stadium. Free broadcasting of matches of European tournaments in the open Internet space is a violation of copyright, and the club cannot and will not violate them.

 

To date, no other TV channel or Internet resource has expressed a desire to broadcast our matches on the territory of Moldova. Therefore, the club is not responsible for the unwillingness of broadcasters to organize broadcasts of FC Sheriff matches on their platforms.
