FC Sheriff defender Charles Petro played his 11th match for the Malawi national team.

 

In preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches, Malawi lost 0-1 away to Zambia. Charles entered the starting lineup and played in the center-back position for the entire 90 minutes of the meeting.

 

On October 11, Malawi will face off against Zimbabwe, where another defender of the first team, Alec Mudimu, has been called.
