Today, the first in the history of the Republic of Moldova and Transnistria World Champion in kickboxing among adults, Tiraspol citizen Maxim Cazacu and his coach, Ivan Derkachenko, came to visit us.

 

Maxim did the impossible, it seemed. On the way to the WAKO title, which was approved by the International Olympic Committee and adopted into the Olympic family, our athlete beat the representatives of the USA, Macedonia, and, in the semifinals and finals, was better than the most titled fighters in his weight category. In the semifinals, Maxim defeated Astimir Borsov, 2-1, whose titles are countless, Honored Master of Sports, five-time World Champion, 4-time European Champion, 7-time won Russian Championship, 3-time World Champion among professionals.

 

In the final showdown, the Master of Sports of the international class from Ukraine, European Champion 2018, Sergei Gerasimenko was defeated. The score of the final match is 12: 2 in favor of Maxim Cazacu.
