In the second playing round of the Cup of African Nations 2015 finalist 2013 the national team of Burkina-Faso and the hosts of the tournament Equatorial Guinea did not score any goals to each other. FC Sheriff player Benjamin Balima was left on the substitutes’ bench.
 
The opponents of Burkina-Faso in group – the national teams of Congo and Gabon also had a match. Minimal victory was taken by Congo players who lead the group. Burkina-Faso takes the last place in the group having only one point. In the next match on January 25 Burkina-Faso plays with the national team of Congo.
