Bernardo Vilar: «When I found out about FC Sheriff's interest, I had nothing to think about»
Another central defender of the first team, Bernardo Vilar, is gaining experience and getting used to the realities of the club:
- Bernardo, you've been in the team for almost a month now, how is the adaptation going?
- Adaptation is going as well as possible. The players and the staff have received me very well. This has made the task much easier. In addition to the fact that I have already played in Europe and adapted to European soccer.

- When I learned about the interest of such a famous club as FC Sheriff, I had nothing to think about. I willingly accepted the offer. The club has projections and goals that coincide with those I have in my career.

- The reality has exceeded all my expectations. The structure and the quality of specialists who work at the club is simply at the highest level. There is no doubt about it.

- Every day we understand each other better on the pitch and internalize the coach's idea of the game. I feel that we are developing quickly. We can`t stop here, we need to continue in the same spirit.
- You've been in Europe for more than three years, but you haven`t managed to play in European cups yet. What are your thoughts on this matter?
- True, I haven`t had such an opportunity. But I feel that all the time spent in Europe has prepared me for participation in these competitions.
- The team wished you a rather warm happy birthday. What was the day like on February 12?
- They made a very cool surprise for my birthday. The atmosphere in the team is really cool, we all get along really well.
- Fans are part of the club. What words have you prepared for them.
- I can say that together we will achieve our goals. The fans are very important for us and can expect full commitment and determination from me and the team.
