FC Sheriff player Benjamin Balima was called up to the national team of Burkina-Faso which is taking part in the African Cup of Nations – 2015 group stage.
 
All 16 participants of the final stage play their matches in Equatorial Guinea. The group stage takes place from January 17 till January 28, play-off matches are played from January 31 till February 8. Last eight are played by two best teams of their groups.
 
In one group with Burkina-Faso there are national teams of Congo, Gabon and the host of the tournament – players of the national team of Equatorial Guinea. In the first match Burkina-Faso plays against Gabon.
 
The final match of the African Cup of Nations takes place on February 8 in the town of Bata at the stadium Estadio de Bata.
 
We should remind you that in the year 2013 the national team of Burkina-Faso conceded in the final of the African Cup of Nations to Nigeria by the score 1:0 who is the active champion.
