The author of the only and winning goal for FC Sheriff – Andrei Muresan – commented on the result of the principal match against FC Zimbru:
 
It was a difficult game. We knew that FC Zimbru are dangerous in set pieces performance. Of course, I was very pleased to score in such a match. It is important that we got three points and continue achieving our goals – winning the championship and the Cup.
 
Do you think it was possible to achieve more in this game?
We are satisfied we got three points. This is the most important.
 
You have played for quite a long time in the championship of Moldova. How do you estimate its level?
I would not give my comments on this. I can say that such conditions as in FC Sheriff are not available for many teams playing in the Champions League. I am happy here.
