The first team of FC Sheriff continues preparations for the match of the first qualifying round of the Champions League against SC Fola Esch, Luxembourg.

 

Yesterday, all club staff, including players and coaching staff, passed the mandatory, according to the Competition Regulations, the UEFA-approved PCR test for COVID-19. The test was held in the only laboratory in Moldova, which is accredited by the European Football Union. Test results were sent to UEFA headquarters in Nyon.

 

For our club, the notification from UEFA did not bring any surprises - all the tests turned out to be negative, and the players who got into the application for the game against the Champion of Luxembourg were allowed to the match.

 

FC Sheriff and SC Fola Esch will meet tomorrow at the SC Sheriff Main Arena. The match starts at 21.00. The game will be shown live on TSV TV channel.
