“Academia” – “Sheriff” 14.09.13
In terms of the VII round of the National Division of Moldavian Championship in football the “Academia” from Chisinau was a formal host of the game. The match took place on the Small Arena of Sports Complex “Sheriff” in Tiraspol but it was originally planned to be carried out in Vadul-lui-Vode.
It should be noted that the intrigue disappeared already in the first half when “Sheriff” attacked the gates of “Academia” four times. Ricardinho was first to be distinctive, then in a minute another Brazilian Luvannor Henrique who shot exactly to the bottom corner. The third goal was scored by the next Brazilian Kadu who outplayed the goalkeeper in the close in. In the middle of the time “Sheriff” got a dangerous penalty. In the second half “Academia” had a chance to make a few dangerous moments. Maxim Foksha had the closest chance to score a goal but Dmitry Stajila made a save. Juan Alvarado who performed his first official match for “Sheriff” scored a goal on 75th minute. Alexandr Bolshacov sent the ball to Alvarado’s head and the Spanish scored the 5th goal in the game. Jhulliam Pires came off the substitutes’ bench, at first he was left alone in front of the gates and shot it from close distance, and then he set the final score – 0:7!
On Thursday, September 19, there will be held a match of the group stage of UEFA Europa League on the Main Arena of Sports Complex “Sheriff” at 22:05. In the first round of the group K FC “Sheriff” hosts FC “Anji” (Makhachkala, Russia).
