Tadei Apatic, FC Sheriff defender, gave an interview to the official FC Sheriff website:

Tadei, what do you think about the last game against Nistru?
I think that we showed a good game in the first half, in defense as well. It was good also because the head coach gave the opportunity to play to those players who rarely make first team. They took their chance to show themselves. Of course, we were unlucky to see our goalkeeper sent off, and therefore had to concentrate on defense. I can say that we had great 60 minutes. Our head coach said several times, that our physical condition is poor, so we can't have good endurance for the whole match. Now we have time to work on physical conditions.

Was it hard to play in defense in the second half, knowing that actually you played without the goalkeeper, because the field player had to stand in goal?
It was not that hard, everyone knew what to do. When the team works good in defense, everything is ok. We knew how to behave in such situations.

Lately we didn't see you on the pitch and Morales played instead of you. Why it is so in your opinion?
I didn't discuss it with the coach but I think it is because the game in Zagreb. As I already said nobody in Zagreb played as he should. We shouldn't have played open game with them. We played attacking football at home and wanted to play the same in Zagreb. Look, against Olympique we played much better because we didn't go to attack immediately and waited for our chance. As a result, in both matches we had 4-5 good goal-scoring opportunities. In Zagreb everybody played bad. After my mistake, when I lost the ball, we got a goal. It's up to head coach to decide. All I want is to prove that it was just not my day and I can play much better.

Is the competition hard on your position?
There is competition and it is good. It's good when there are 1-2 skillful players on the same position, with whom you have to compete for the first team squad. It makes me work on myself and develop as a player. We have a good team and good players.
